A Camping Checklist For A Successful Trip

This camping checklist is purposely long, so as to help make it easy to prepare for your next camping trip. When you are going camping it pays to be prepared with all the gear you will need for the trip. Some of the items you’ll need will depend on where you are going, when you are going, who you are going with and for how long. So please feel free to add or subtract from the camping gear checklist provided here. If you see anything you think we are missing please let us know by leaving a comment below.
Shelter:
Tent Stakes Tarp for shade and poles Ground sheet Mat Brush/dustpan Broom Hammer or mallet Stake or peg remover Tent repair kit.
Bedding:
Sleeping bags (and liners) Extra blankets Air mattress/hammock/cot/stretcher/sleeping pad Pillow Air pump Air mattress repair kit.
Hygiene:
Toothbrush Tooth paste Feminine items Biodegradable Soap Wash Cloth Shampoo Towel Toilet paper Razor Camp Shower.
Cooking:
Stove/fuel Matches/lighter Wood/ Dutch oven Aluminum Foil Sticks for hot dogs and marshmallows Cookware Pot/Pans Can Opener Bottle Opener Grill Plates/Bowls/Knives/Forks/Spoons Chairs Dining Table/Table Cloth Dish Rag Pot Scrubber Tongs Mixing Bowl Coolers Ice Re-sealable storage bags Biodegradable Detergent Wind shelter Coffee Maker Measuring cups and spoons Water containers Cutting board.

A big consideration as to what you can do without is just how far you will need to carry the stuff when you are setting up camp. You don’t want to be loaded down with stuff.
